Who, what, when, where and how?

Who?

During Covid we have been contacted by more prospective clients than ever before. We like anyone else will ask, why have we had an increase in interest? Glove has always gained most of its business through referrals and this is great for us. The reason, we have received a surge in enquiries is two-fold. Firstly, more education providers have required support over the period of Covid and secondly, in the small workd of education, happy clients recommend you to others.

Many are surprised when they know that Glove Consulting is long established and that it’s associates have decades of experience in a wide range of educational settings and areas; both curriculum and support. It is that combination, that brings the perfect offer to our clients.

What?

Many educational providers have been requiring support with communications with their stakeholders, others have needed strategic planning to protect their student recruitment for September, support with on-line initiatives and others have wanted to take this opportunity to work on new projects. These providers, have reached out to Glove as they know other providers who currently work with us, and have been recommended.

Know that most providers are more settled with their plans, we are getting lots of providers asking for support on more routine projects that have taken a step back during the last few months. The prospectus, the website, the PR, the summer marketing campaign and the bid writing have often been put on hold. Now though, is the time to ensure that these critical tasks are back on the table.

We are being more creative - getting photos of students when they are not in college/school, getting case studies by e-mail contact, supporting the admissions process through on-line communications and ensuring that providers share with their community all the good work that they and their pupils/students have done during Covid. Glove Consultancy has too, supported a group of schools in the creation of masks - driving materials around and delivering the end product to happy carers.

When?

Now - we need support now, is usually the reply. Having a range of Associates, means that we can be responsive to client needs. Although we work fast, we of course need to ensure that we do not rush any project over its quality and the impact that it will have. We have though turned around a prospectus in a week, completed an audit in two weeks and will always be available for same day e-mail and phone support where needed.

Where?

We would normally go and meet clients in their organisation but of course we have been doing all work through video calls and on-line. We do though look forward to meeting them all face to face when we can.

We are hopeful that we will see more video calls and this will reduce travel time and make us more effective. But of course, for those that wants face to face, when it can return, that will be good by us.

How?

Working with new clients is great, but it is important that we are honest, quick to see what is needed and how we can provide support, and get data needed to contribute to our intended action. We like to have a frank relationship with our clients, we will always be ‘nice’ but always honest. We will share ideas, look at alternatives and bring in the right associates. We will listen, understand the brief and ensure satisfaction.

We keep in touch - not to bother you, but to share key information, bids that you could apply for, or just remind you that we are there if you need us. Some clients keep us on a retainer, others will contract us for off projects and others on a day rate. We charge around £500 per day for consultancy work, a marketing audit will be around £2,000, a prospectus around £1,700 and a website around £5,000.

If you think we can help you, get in touch and we will work as hard for you as we do our other very happy clients.
